Milan hammered a Hungarian selection 5-2 in tonight’s Budapest friendly with Andriy Shevchenko bagging a brace.

The Rossoneri travelled to the Puskas Stadium to take on the Hungarian League Team, a selection of players from the various domestic clubs.

Before kick-off star Kaka was presented with a cake to celebrate his 27th birthday on the pitch, something he later marked with a goal.

It was the Hungarians who took a surprise lead through Rajczi’s counter-attack to send the 40,000 home fans wild.

There were plenty of chances before Kaka equalised, running on to David Beckham’s fine pass over the defence to place an angled drive past the Hungarian goalkeeper.

Zeljko Kalac had to palm a Horvat strike on to the crossbar, but straight after the restart Ronaldinho combined with Kaka and substitute Clarence Seedorf in a splendid team move that was finalised by Shevchenko.

It was 2-2 when Tokoli took advantage of youth team defender Matteo Darmian’s error, but Ronaldinho found Shevchenko for a second right-foot goal.

Ronaldinho also hit the woodwork with a delicate lob before Seedorf smashed in a powerful strike.

Felipe Mattioni was brought down for a penalty on 81 minutes, which Ronaldinho wasted by thumping on to the crossbar.

Nonetheless, Milan got their fifth goal late on when Thiago Silva set up Uruguayan Tabare’ Viudez.
