Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani talked about the club's new policies and Italian stadiums.

Following the sale of Kaka to Real Madrid last season, Milan have started to change their transfer policies. There will be no more spending sprees and more care will be given to the club's economical balance.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani talked about this issue to Sky.

"This is a policy almost every team is following," he said. "We have to maintain our economic balance. Milan have been headed by Silvio Berlusconi for the last 23 years and like all other countries in Europe we want to see if we can live off our earnings instead of the money of a rich owner.

"In Italy there are too many presidents who spend hundreds of millions of euros to keep their club's balance intact."

On the Italian stadiums, Galliani said, "The Germans, but also the English, the French, and the Spanish have solved their problems by building new stadiums. Going to Italian stadiums is impossible. They are old, uncomfortable, and you don't see well.

"If we can't improve our stadiums, we will no longer be at the top of European football. Calcio's main problem is the stadiums, and in the oldest and ugliest stadiums the attendance numbers are decreasing."
