| Legendary defender Paolo Maldini believes it's Milan's year for the title, especially if they can expel the ghosts of Inter past on Sunday.
Milan can add to the unsettled faces at Inter by beating them in Sunday's derby showdown and go onto lift the title at the end of the season. That's the verdict of Rossoneri legend Paolo Maldini.
Maldini, who played 53 derbies against Inter during his career, believes Milan need only look at their own culture and continuity after reaching the summit of Serie A as he pushes Inter into a remote background.
"This game comes at an important moment where Inter are full of injuries and there's a Milan team on top of the table," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"And after so many years, they can move further away from Inter, who are still the number one rivals for the title.
"I have the feeling that Milan can go all the way in the league."
